Kettering's Multi Award Winning Ladies Choir
The choir was formed in February 2014 and is made up of ladies of varying ages and musical abilities from Kettering and the surrounding area. Going from strength to strength, we are led by experienced musical director Mark Luther and accompanied by talented pianist Edward Pick.
Our extensive repertoire ranges from sacred to pop via musicals, show tunes and festive pieces, much of which is showcased at our summer and Christmas concerts.
We are always looking to improve, rehearsing new music and entering annual competitions such as local eisteddfods and festivals where we have been very successful, winning several prestigious awards and gaining a solid reputation.
Each year choir members nominate and vote for a local charity to benefit from our fundraising efforts, donating the proceeds from raffles and refreshment sales etc.
Our chosen charity for 2022/23 is Crohns & Colitis UK
We are often asked to sing at special events such as weddings, birthdays, fundraisers and charity functions and are always honoured and proud to do so.
We rehearse every Tuesday at the All Saints Church from 7.15pm to 9.15pm and we open our doors for new members twice a year. No audition is necessary and you don't have to be able to read music; all you need is an enjoyment of singing and the ability to hold a tune.
Our open evenings are advertised on our social media pages as well as on our website, but if you would like to join the list and have us contact you when we are holding open evenings, please contact us on the form below!
